Schnitzel started in 2006 by Alan Bennett and myself, as a student magazine printed entirely on the college photocopiers. It eventually evolved into a comedy club and even briefly a radio show. The comedy club has had over 70 shows in Limerick, Kildare and Dublin. Schnitzel has gone from strength to strength hosting some of the best comedy acts in the world including Edinburgh comedy award winners David O’Doherty and Daniel Kitson. As comedy club Its aim was to a more alternative night of entertainment that didn’t follow the same format as every other comedy club.
